The collection contains a letter, 1917, to Miss [Abbie Farwell?] or [Alice?]Brown apololgizing for typing, accepting an invitation to visit the Boston Authors' Club, and mentioning the Worcester, Mass., program, and an Authors' League dinner. The collection also contains two autograph sentiments, 1925 and 1948, written as the godfather of Peter Rabbit; a printed advertisement from Little Brown, & Co., for Burgess's "Old Mother West Wind" books, n.d.; and a photograph of the author at his desk, authographing books, 1956.
